Kristina and Steven approached us just four weeks before their wedding, bringing their planner, Gabrielle Events, and a vision as complex as it was beautiful. Set against the backdrop of a friend’s estate in Brentwood, we embarked on blending their distinct styles into an intimate, yet striking, backyard affair. She desired a romantic garden teeming with texture and color, while he envisioned sleek, minimalistic lines.

Luxe, Organic, Juxtaposed

Drawing inspiration from the iconic architecture of the Getty Museum, which loomed elegantly in the distance, we crafted a design that married both visions seamlessly. White pillars framed the poolside ceremony, while rectangular crystal vases graced heavy concrete tables, creating a refined juxtaposition. Thousands of heirloom roses from Rose Story Farm, along with whimsical September blooms, softened the aesthetic, adding a layer of romantic elegance that echoed through every detail.

The bridal posy, a delicate mix of Dutch Lilac, Clematis, and Pink Spirea, was the perfect accent to this refined celebration. The color palette evolved from the clean, crisp whites reminiscent of the Getty, to warm, vintage hues of lavender and mauve, imbuing the event with a timeless quality.

At the reception, small, lush gardens overflowed with greenery and blooms, dotting the dinner tables. Trees and a fully dressed stage added warmth and depth to the space, transforming it into a verdant sanctuary where romance and modernity coexisted in perfect harmony.
